At Hoover City Schools, we are committed to fostering transparency and accountability in our educational practices. Hoover City Schools provides access to curricula and classroom materials to ensure our community stays informed and engaged. Transparency and Accountability Initiatives

Hoover City Schools is committed to the following:

  • Curriculum: All board-adopted curricula for each class will remain posted on our district website, with further details relating to each individual classroom made available by each teacher through ParentSquare.  These two steps help ensure that our families have easy access to what their student is learning in class.

  • Instructional Materials: We believe in the importance of parent and guardian involvement. Our HCS families have the right to access and review their student’s instructional and classroom materials.

  • Communication and Responsiveness: We have a structured process in place for addressing any concerns, guaranteeing timely, efficient, and effective responses.

Classroom Syllabus and Instructional Materials

Syllabi, including classroom procedures, communication opportunities, and supplemental instructional material information about each specific class, are accessible through the district’s ParentSquare application. Hoover parents and guardians can log in to ParentSquare to view this detailed information about their child's classes.
