My name is Amy Wallace, and I am a Reading Intervention teacher at F.E. Burleson. I have been teaching at F.E. Burleson since 2010. When I graduated from college in 1990, I began working for Parisian, and through a series of moves with the store, I met my husband Fred, who was managing another store in the Mall. We married in 1999, and after our son, Grant (a HHS graduate) was born, I left Parisian and returned to school to get my Master's in education.
I live in Hartselle with my husband Fred, and our son Grant. When I am not at school, I spend most of my time curled up with a good book.
I am passionate about reading and I feel that EVERY child can be a successful reader! I love helping children realize their potential in all areas of their academic life, but especially reading.
