Mrs. Roy moved to Hartselle in 2019 with her husband, Lonnie Roy. They have two daughters, Adelyn Jade Roy (4) and LeeElla James Roy (2). This is Mrs. Roy's fifth year as an educator since making the transition from industry. She has a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from UAB, as well as a M.S. in Materials Engineering from UAB. She is currently pursuing her PhD. in Materials Science. Mrs. Roy also teaches at Calhoun Community College.
