Hello,

My name is Krystin Manis. I am the Pre-K teacher for Hardin Elementary School this 2023-2024 school year. I have taught for the last 3 years at MET Headstart with the three & four year olds in Liberty & Hardin. I decided to step it up this year and come to Hardin ISD to teach the little ones here. 

I really look forward to teaching students each and every day, because I feel as if every child has the opportunity to excel and strive in their education, no matter the hardships they may endure in their life. "I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you its going to be worth it!" and "You have only failed if you have given up!" are two of my favorite quotes in these circumstances... Don't ever doubt what your child may make of themselves throughout the years. One thing I can say about myself is I never got anywhere by quitting or believing in others when I was constantly told I couldn't do it... I looked for all the ways I would push myself that much harder to prove them wrong! 

My passion will forever be teaching children! After I have gained more knowledge and grown into this career, I will then further myself into becoming a Therapist/ Counselor for others, because what better way to contribute than always helping others!
