The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week. 

Red Ribbon Week has been an annual event at schools throughout the United States since 1986. The Red Ribbon activities are intended to present a unified, positive and visible commitment toward a safe and drug-free America.
