GUSD complies with Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 in supporting students with disabilities who require accommodations and modifications in order to access the general education program.
Each school site in the District has an administrator assigned as the School Site 504 Coordinator. Parents with questions or concerns about Section 504 should contact the Section 504 Coordinator at their child's school. If issues are not resolved, parents should contact the District 504 Coordinator, the Director of Student Support Services at (818) 241-3111, ext. 1285.
Parents may also file a formal complaint regarding Section 504 thru the District's Uniform Complaint Procedure.
