Meet the Teacher

  • My name is Teresa Williams and I have been teaching at La Crescenta Elementary school since 2007.  I live and work in the community, so don't be surprised if you see me at Ralphs or running along Foothill Blvd.   I moved to La Crescenta 20+ years ago, because of the good pulbic educaiton offered.  My kids went through Monte Vista, Rosemont, and CV High.  I believe in public education and promise to work hard every day to help your children to learn and grow.

I feel kids learn best when they feel safe and know what to expect.  My mantra is firm, fair, and fun.  That said, I'm highly organized and highly structured.  We'll learn routines and procedures that will be followed throughout the year.   However, I will balance that with the individual needs of the kids in my class.  Every child is unique and has special needs.  The expectations for all learners will be to "do their best" each and every day!

I hold a BA in communications from Pepperdine University, a MBA from Arizona State University, and a Teaching Credential from CSUN.  I worked in advertsing and marketing before feeling called into teaching mid-life.  Teaching is a choice for me.  One I value and cherish.
