Valley View PTA
-
Dear Valley View Families,
I want to take a minute to introduce the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). We are a volunteer organization working within schools to positively impact our children and families. I joined the PTA because I wanted to directly impact my children’s school and community. PTA provides extra resources for our teachers, from classroom supplies to room parents and volunteers. In addition, we try to support our school’s teachers and staff with staff appreciation events, extra art programs, assemblies, and themed weeks. These events help to enrich the lives of the children attending Valley View.
PTA can only provide these events and resources through your membership, participation in fundraisers, and volunteering at one of our many school events. We hope you will join the PTA and work with us to create a strong school community. Our school is strong because our families are involved.
As a PTA, we hope to hold many wonderful events on campus this year. The current activities planned include TK/Kindergarten Tea, Welcome Back Picnic, Bingo, and Game Nights, Yellow and Red Ribbon Weeks, Fall Carnival, and many more. These on campus events help to bring us together as a school community. With all these events, we need your help and support!
We would love for each family to find a way in which they can give back to our school. Please consider getting involved this year by first becoming a PTA member and second by volunteering. Many hands make light work. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with myself or any of the officers on our board. We would love to help you find a way to become an active member of our school community through the PTA.
Sincerely,
Emily Hilton
