My name is Sylvia Cruz-Astorga. I have been teaching for 30 years. I love being a teacher. It was something I always wanted to do ever since I was in first grade! I received my Bachelor's Degree from UC San Diego and my teaching credential from UCLA. My very first teaching position was here at Cerritos Elementary. Cerritos has been my home ever since. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. Through the years, I've received my Masters Degree in Education with an Emphasis on Bilingual/Multicultural Education. I love working at Cerritos Elementary!
