• Emergency Alerts
     
    Parents are asked to keep all emergency contact information up-to-date with the school office. In addition to the emergency information sent out from the school and district office, parents can sign up for Emergency Alerts from local agencies.
     
    There are several local Emergency Alert systems that are available that send notifications to registered users in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.
     
    Nixle
    Nixle is a Community Information Service dedicated to helping you stay connected to the information that matters most to you, depending on your physical location. You stay connected to your local police department, your children’s schools, your local community agencies and organizations, and the important information from other locations throughout the country that are relevant to you.

    Alert LA County
    Los Angeles County has implemented an emergency mass notification system that will be used to contact County residents and businesses via recorded phone messages, text messages or e-mail messages in case of emergency.  The system, called Alert LA County, will be used by the County’s Emergency Operations Center to notify residents and businesses of emergencies or critical situations and provide information regarding necessary actions, such as evacuations.

    City of Glendale Emergency Alert Program
    Get alerted about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for our Emergency Alert Program. This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.
