Applications, letters of recommendation, interviews, and/or auditions are required for some elective classes. Students who are interested in one of the specialized elective classes are asked to download or complete the Google form application requirements below.

ASB members are expected to show strong dedication and commitment.
ASB students are the representatives and role models of the school.
ASB members are expected to be school leaders whether they are in class, at lunch or at a school function.
Interview, application, and one teacher recommendation are required. The teacher recommendation does not need to be completed for the interview.

Full-year design class. Skills needed are: Computer knowledge, strong writing skills, strong art skills, photography knowledge, can meet deadlines, and has a great team spirit.

Spanish 1-2
Spanish 1-2 requires a strong academic record, excellent study habits, maturity, self-discipline, and a lot of desire to learn a foreign language. Heritage Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply. Please complete the application and turn it in to your 6th grade teacher by March 10. Your 6th grade teacher will need to complete the Teacher Recommendation portion of the form and email both to Ms. Rivera at lrivera@gusd.net by March 21.
