Hello Verdugo Academy Families,


We look forward to seeing you at our Student Showcase Event tomorrow, Thursday, 5/18, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Verdugo Academy / College View School site, 1700 E. Mountain Street, Glendale 91207.

Please enter through the outside staircase off of our patio to the right of the building. Remember to see Ms. Zendejas or Mrs. Curtiss to complete your 2023-2024 Enrollment Paperwork if you are in good standing and continuing with Verdugo Academy in August.

Be sure to RSVP if you are planning to purchase pizza dinner so our ASB can plan accordingly.

The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles

The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is accepting online applications for individuals and families to participate in a lottery for a position on the waiting list for its Section 8 Program. The Section 8 Program offers housing assistance to families by paying a portion of their rent to private property owners.  The Section 8 Waiting List opens Monday, October 17, 2022 at 6:00 a.m. and closes Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 5 pm.  For details click  on  Section 8 Flyer.

LIFE Program Open Enrollment Event

The LIFE (Low Income Fare is Easy) Program offers savings such as discounted transit passes, or 20 free rides each month.  Use your discounts on LA Metro and other participating transit agencies.  The LIFE Program Open Enrollment Event is Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 9:00 a.m.  - 12:00 p.m. at Glendale Central Library.  Flyer link

The school year has started well and Verdugo Academy students are on the road to success! Parents, please see the link below to update your information on Parent Portal. We had a few emails returned, and we want you to get the important information the district sends out.

I updated the tutoring link! All students now have access to free tutoring through the state. (Thanks, California!)

Hello Verdugo Academy Students and Families!

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year... even though school doesn't start until Wednesday! I'm still learning about the 2022-2023 school year, and I'll let you know everything you need to know as soon as possible. For now, the only assignment is for parents.
