Miss Dashdemirians was born in Athens, Greece and raised in Glendale, California. She moved to the United States about 22 years ago. As a child, she would play pretend games of being a teacher with her stuffed animals and dolls. As a proud product of schools in the Glendale Unified School District, she knew that her time would soon come to be an educator in her community. After graduating from Clark Magnet High School, she enrolled in a four-year accelerated program to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at California State University, Northridge.

After finishing the Integrated Teacher Education Program at CSUN, Miss Dashdemirians was hired as a substitute teacher in GUSD. As the new academic year started, she began her journey as a first grade teacher at Balboa Elementary School. She continues to excel in her studies as she’s enrolled in professional development courses to clear her credential at CSUN and hopes to begin her graduate studies the following year.
