Dear Galway Families,
We are excited to announce that due to Federal funding, Galway Central School District is able to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students beginning on Monday, November 9, 2020 and continuing through the remainder of the school year.
Parents do not have to fill out any forms or do anything! Students can pick up their meals during their regular meal times. Please note that parents will have to pay for second meals and a la carte items such as snacks, ice cream, and extra milk.
Galway’s Child Nutrition School Meals program cooks from scratch, and 30% of the food we serve is locally sourced in NYS. We are proud to be part of the Farm-to-School Program in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension - Saratoga Ag Economic Development Program, Pitney Meadows Community Farm, and four other Saratoga County school districts. The Farm-to-School Program helps us obtain equipment and reimbursement for fresh, local produce.

We are looking forward to serving your children delicious, homemade meals. Our kitchens are decorated for the holidays, and we hear rumors that a certain pair of elves may be coming back soon!
Sincerely,
Amy Thompson
