My background is in pediatric medicine and I made a career change to education. I was an educator at Walsh Middle School for 19 years as a middle school algebra teacher and a Math Department Head.  I have a Master's degree in Administrative Leadership from Endicott College- Massachusetts School Administrators Association, a Master's degree in Education from Cambridge College, and a Doctorate in Medicine from the State University of New York School of Medicine.

My educational philosophy is that All Students Can Learn.  I believe in the concept of a Growth Mindset and that we must pay particular attention to students from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.  I am a passionate educator and work to create a collaborative, positive school culture.  

I’m pleased to be the Interim Principal at Hemenway Elementary School, and I look forward to working with the Hemenway Community - those who are invested in the best learning experience for our students!
