Quality science instruction provides opportunities for students to develop the understandings and skills necessary to function productively as problem-solvers in a scientific and technological world.  At Davies, students experience inquiry through hands-on investigations.  Scientific inquiry provides the foundation for students to learn how to ask questions, develop experiments, collect and analyze data and use evidence to draw conclusions.  Students will develop a more cohesive understanding of the core ideas of Science over time through the use of the Next Generation Science Standards based curriculum.
