Dear Duffield Families, I hope this letter finds you making wonderful memories with those you hold dear. I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Helen B. Duffield Elementary School. With twenty years experience as an educator, I come to Connetquot CSD with a deep passion for education and a commitment to fostering an environment where every student can thrive. As a mother to four daughters, I understand the profound trust and responsibility you place in us as educators. I am fully aware of the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where each child can reach their full potential. I am immensely grateful to my predecessor, Ms. Farrell, for her support during my transition into this role. Her dedication has laid a strong foundation that I am eager to build upon with the help of our dedicated staff and supportive school community. I am genuinely excited to join the Duffield family and to collaborate with each of you in providing the best possible educational experience for our students.
