Connetquot High School will use Passport for Good to allow you to track your Seal of Civic Readiness progress in real-time using your phone, Chromebook, or any other connected device.
You must complete a “Seal of Civic Readiness Student Application” form to apply. You can find this on your social studies teacher’s Google Classroom and the Connetquot High School Website under Departments → Humanities K-12. The application will appear on the screen's navigation pane on the left.
See Mr. Cassagne in Room 230 or email rcassagne@ccsdli.org. You may also ask your social studies teacher.
This can be completed in AP Research class. Your topic will need to be approved by Mr. Guillem and Ms. Martorelli to ensure you will accrue Seal of Civic Readiness points.
Will not be linked to any course or elective. Students may complete these on their own and must get projects approved by Mr. Cassagne.
This list is not comprehensive. If you are in an elective course you believe promotes civic engagement, please see Mr. Cassagne. Elective courses ARE NOT limited to social studies.
Any club can qualify, as long as students meet the requirements and complete the Application of Knowledge project. Like elective courses, this is not limited to social studies-related activities.
