Wood Park is filled with MUSIC! The children are off to a wonderful start playing the xylophones, metallophones, and a variety of other percussion instruments. We incorporated the book
The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid 
by Linda D. Williams, with our instruments to tell the story in a musical way! 
The children have also learned the difference between Major and Minor keys. 
We have all played a wonderful game called "Pass the Pumpkin" 
in which the children sing in a minor key, 
pass to the beat, and rotate thru several instruments...all in a game!
It is safe to say that music ROCKS at Wood Park!
