Sierra Vista Elementary strives to highlight it's diversity. We encourage inclusion of all students and staff across our campus through a variety of learning and culture building opportunities.

• Each of our classrooms chose a country to study, learning about its unique traditions, clothing, food, and celebrations.  The classroom became a Viking tourist destination to learn about 22 other cultures.  Some of the activities included, but were not limited to, oral or written reports, learning phrases of the specific language spoken in the country, learning a dance, listening and sharing music, and creating flags representing the countries. 
• Each student was given a passport.  The passports were stamped as they entered each country. 
• Clovis High School’s Folkloric, Salsa, Hip Hop Stomp, and Hmong dance groups participated in a celebration of dance sharing beautiful, traditional dance moves and stories through movement.
