Clovis Unified’s Measure A is on the ballot this November. Measure A is a facility bond measure that maintains a stable tax rate and would provide for:
Safety, energy efficiency and technology upgrades for ALL schools.
Modernization and repairs to aging schools.
Completion of our new high school to ease overcrowding.

The goal in this area is to improve the classroom and school-wide cultural experiences for all Sierra Vista students and families. This is done by evidence of classroom experiences, as well as the visible evidence in and around the school facility.

OUR MISSION
To empower America’s youth to build positive relationships and become their best selves.
OUR VISION
To partner with schools across the country and equip educators with the training, strategy, and resources to teach their students positive psychology’s 24 character strengths.
Positive psycology's 24 character strengths is the conscept that surrounds the Positivity Project. The Positivity Project is a non profit organization dedicated to partnering with K-12 schools and helping students across the country build stronger relationships by learning thier own character strengths and character strengths in others. The goal is to create citizens and leaders who will enhance our community and country.
Positivity Ambassador's Share Positivity Project Message
Our Sierra Vista Positivity Ambassadors shared our school's participation in supporting a culture of understanding. Positivity Project plays an important part in our school culture using daily lessons and weekly activities to focus on the 24 innate character traits. Our Public Relations Committee is responsible for community awareness and sharing out the vision of the Positivity Project.
Focus Group Achievement
Sierra Vista uses resources such as Intervention and Push In Teachers for ELA and Math to improve academic growth. Students are screened and provided with specific targeted instruction to subgroup students through Intervention Push In Teachers and groups with progress monitoring.
