Clovis Unified’s Measure A is on the ballot this November. Measure A is a facility bond measure that maintains a stable tax rate and would provide for: 
  • Safety, energy efficiency and technology upgrades for ALL schools.
  • Modernization and repairs to aging schools.
  • Completion of our new high school to ease overcrowding.

FINANCIAL AGENCIES

Students aids are available to eligible students. To determine eligibility, research which agency, and contact that agency to prepare the proper paperwork.
Students may be eligible for student aid from the following agencies:

CalWorks


Workforce Connection


Veterans Affairs


California Division of Workers' Compensation


Tribal TANF


Department of Rehabilitation 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPONSORED STUDENTS

Prospective students MUST QUALIFY to apply for CTE program of interest.

  1. Step 1: Meet CTE program requirements.  Program requirements will vary.  See links below:
  2. Pass the TABE tests at the required grade level for the program of interest.
  3. Receive notification from interested department that you have passed placement test.
  4. Complete and submit to CTE department of interest program application.
  5. Receive proof of acceptance into the CTE program of interest from CTE department.
  6. Contact your Agency Sponsor and provide a copy of your proof of acceptance.
  7. Have eligibility approval by agency sponsor:
    • Documentation/approval of services.
    • Proof of Agency authorization is required prior to enrollment/orientation and/or payment due date or the start of class for all CTE programs.
  8. Each agency will have different documentation:
    • CalWorks Students should receive a WTW contract
    • Department of Rehab Student should receive an IEP contract
    • Workforce (WIOA) Students should receive and ITA contract
    • Veterans Affairs Student should receive a COE contract
    • Tribal TANF Student should receive a MOU contract
  9. This documentation must have the following information:
    • Student name
    • Approved school name
    • Approved program name
    • Intent to pay program fees, books, and supplies
  10. After Attending program orientation or the day of pre-registration, agency sponsored students must ensure all documentation and authorizations are in order.
  11. Last step, inform program of interest department of financial aid approval.
