Measure A on November Ballot
Clovis Unified’s Measure A is on the ballot this November. Measure A is a facility bond measure that maintains a stable tax rate and would provide for: 
  • Safety, energy efficiency and technology upgrades for ALL schools.
  • Modernization and repairs to aging schools.
  • Completion of our new high school to ease overcrowding.

    • It’s Red Ribbon week! Today's Drug Fact is Drugs have far reaching consequences that negatively affect family, personal health, and society as a whole. Remember guys, say no to drugs!! Dress up themes are: Today: Jersey Day, Friday: Red Out. Please keep in mind you must be in dress code. 
     
    • Sadie Hawkins is Saturday from 7pm-10pm! The Theme is Spooky Scary Sadies! Tickets are available for $30 per person in the Activities office before school, at lunch and after school only, Do not come during Buchanan scheduled class time. You must have your digital ID to purchase your ticket. Guest passes for non-BHS students are available in Student Services.
     
    • It’s that time of the year again! Harmony Auditions are next Monday @ 3:30 pm in the MPR. If you have a Multicultural talent come see us! If you have any questions, come by the Activities Office. 
     
    • PASA Meeting will be held today in room 356.
     
    • If you are interested in playing, or participating in Powderpuff this year, the Powderpuff informational meeting is Monday November 4th in the Lecture Hall during lunch!

    Please sign up in the Career and Counseling Center today to see college or military Reps coming this week!

    • The Native American Student Success Conference will take place on November 19.  All students are welcome. The goal of this conference is to provide inspiration for students to pursue goals beyond high school and to connect with Native American culture. You will have the opportunity to meet people in the community who persevered and became a success as well as visit with guest speakers and learn about cultural music. Come to the Counseling Center for more information.
