Measure A on November Ballot
Clovis Unified’s Measure A is on the ballot this November. Measure A is a facility bond measure that maintains a stable tax rate and would provide for: 
  • Safety, energy efficiency and technology upgrades for ALL schools.
  • Modernization and repairs to aging schools.
  • Completion of our new high school to ease overcrowding.

Construction Updates

We are excited to share some important construction updates happening on campus!
  • Play Structure Opening: The new play structure is officially open for students to enjoy during recess and lunch.
  • Water Fountain & Refill Station: A second water fountain and water refill station near the baseball field is now available for use.
  • North Wing (B Building) Update: The 1st and 2nd-grade classrooms, as well as RSP services, will be moving into the newly completed north wing (B building) over the next several weeks.
  • Library Opening: The library is set to open mid-November, once all assigned classes have transitioned into the B building.
Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to complete these new additions to our campus!

We are halfway through summer and things are moving along on our campus. With crews working around the clock, we are excited about the extensive daily progress made by the construction team. Some quick orientation notes as we get ready to “Bring the Heat” and start our first year together:
 
  1. Main Office: Open to the public on August 5th
  2. Site Phone #: 559-327-0100 (will be functional on August 5th)
  3. Construction Update: 
    • MPR, Main office, and Kindergarten buildings will all be completed on or around August 5th.
  4. Grade Level Information:
    • TK-1st grade students will begin the school year in a classroom in the Kindergarten wing on the Northwest corner of the campus.
    • 2nd-6th grade students will be housed in the new portable classrooms leased by the district to provide a welcoming and safe environment for our students.
  5. Communication & Social Media:
    • Instagram and Facebook: If you are not already connected, please consider following us! Updates will be posted there as well as sent directly to you via your email.
    • Hirayama Website: Our website will be updated as often as possible with important information for our families.
