EECU Branch

Home  \  About  \  EECU Branch

Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) opened a full-service branch and ATM on the Clovis West High School campus on August 30, 2016. The branch is a partnership between EECU and Clovis Unified School District.

The EECU Clovis West Branch staff consists of EECU employees and approximately 30 Clovis Unified School District students who are participating in the Career & Technical Education pathway in banking. This program provides the students with an opportunity to join the EECU team as a volunteer. The students assist members with their financial needs by performing a variety of teller transactions and offering membership and loan information to current and potential EECU members.  In August of each year a new team of students is trained to work in the branch.

The student volunteers receive extensive training from EECU staff to prepare them to work in the branch as student financial services representatives.  In addition to gaining work experience, the students are also taking a personal banking class.  In this class, the students learn money management skills, how to create a budget, credit score basics, how to save for retirement, and much more.  These skills will be helpful when the students begin their careers in banking/finance and they are also important for personal financial growth and independence.

The branch is located at 1070 E. Teague Ave., Fresno, CA 93720 and is
open to the public Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Are you interested in joining the EECU Clovis West team? We are accepting applications now! Apply by February 15, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year. Students must be a current sophomore or junior and attending a Clovis Unified High School. For more information, please contact the program teacher,
