Flyer Approval Guidelines
Clovis Unified is frequently contacted with requests to support local businesses and non-profit organizations through the dissemination of flyers or other literature to students and/or employees. While we recognize the important partnership of businesses and non-profit organizations in supporting our schools, the District is unable to grant all of these requests.
In order to protect the educational purpose and limited resources of our schools, Clovis Unified’s Governing Board has established a policy related to the distribution of material in schools that, in part, states “Profit generating businesses or organizations may not use schools or students as agents to distribute flyers, tickets or advertising material.” (Board Policy No. 6161.4 – Free Materials Distribution in Schools). Community groups and organizations must provide proof as a 501(c) business and offer a service not provided by Clovis Unified School District.
If organizations do not meet the outlined requirements, please contact the Communications Department at 327-9093 for alternative advertising options.
Flyer Distribution
Our district collaborates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational/enrichment nature for students by distributing materials electronically via Peachjar. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned from paper to electronic flyer delivery. In addition to receiving emails from their child's school, a link to Peachjar is on each school's website and on the CUSD App to view all active flyers.
To request flyer approval, please review our Flyer Approval Guidelines below and follow the steps below. Flyers are reviewed on Wednesday of each week. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted online within a 24 hour period. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.
- Register your account as a Community Organization on www.peachjar.com.

- Go to "Post & Notify" in your account to submit a flyer.
After you hit submit, your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district office for approval. District staff will review the material and approve or deny. Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school. Hard Copy Flyers
While paper flyers from outside organizations are not distributed to students, approved flyers may occasionally be made available in school front offices at the school site’s discretion if information is very specific to a site, student group or event. To request approval for your hard copy flyer, please complete and submit the Materials Distribution Request Form (downloadable below) to JoAnna Flynn:
