Mrs. Sharp
I grew up in Pennsylvania, and after high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard, (where I met my husband). After four years of serving in the Coast Guard, I attended Sonoma State University in California, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science. I worked in various jobs after graduating, from physical therapy to personal training to orthotics, but none I felt a passion for. When my daughters started preschool, I began substitute teaching and fell in love with it. I completed an alternate route program in Mississippi (where we lived for the past five years) and began my teaching journey. This is my fifth year teaching - my first year I taught Special Education and the past three years I taught 6th grade science. We just recently moved to Englewood, and I feel so blessed and excited to be here in this community!
My husband and I have two beautiful daughters, Ella and Charlotte, who are 10 and 9, and the BEST rescue dog we named Eris. I enjoy spending my free time with my family - taking Eris for walks, riding bike, going to the beach, swimming, traveling, reading books, watching movies and even playing board games!
