Kayla Reid was born in Staten Island, NY and then moved to Florida, where she attended LA Ainger Middle School and Lemon Bay High School. While at Lemon Bay she played Varsity Girls Basketball for all 4 years. During her time playing basketball at Lemon Bay she scored over 1,000 points and bounded over 1,000 rebounds! She was involved in many clubs and activities at Lemon Bay. After high school she attended college at Florida Gulf Coast University where she majored in Community Health. In her free time she likes to go to the beach. She is currently the Science National Honor Society Sponsor, Junior Class Sponsor and the JV Girls Basketball Head Coach.
