Hello, friends! 

My name is Ms. Stones and I am so happy you are here! 

I am originally from Bucks County, PA, but I went to middle and high school here in Charlotte County.  I graduated from Charlotte in 2007 (when we still had modular buildings and were losing shoes during the rainy season, yes).  I graduated from Cottey College in Missouri and I hold a BA in English and Women’s Writing and an MA in English.  

I have previously worked at FSW-Charlotte and Gateway Charter High School in Fort Myers.  Returning to teach at Charlotte has been a surreal experience.  While the class offerings and the buildings may have changed, the school culture is still the same. 

I have previously taught 6th grade English, 9th grade ELA, AICE Thinking Skills, and AICE Media Studies.  Currently, I am teaching AICE General Paper, English II, and Dual Enrollment ENC 1101 and 1102.
