I moved to Florida from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, in 2015. I grew up raising registered quarter horses and commercial beef cattle. I now live in Arcadia, on 75 acres, that I share with my husband and daughters as well as our beef cattle herd, several horses, a donkey, chickens, quail, and our four dogs. I was a very active member of FFA all four years in high school and carried that passion for animals and agriculture into college. I attended North Carolina State University where I received a Bachelors in Animal Science and a Bachelors in Poultry Science as well as a Masters in Agricultural Education. To say agriculture has been my life is an understatement and that is why I am so excited to be here sharing that passion for ag. with the students at CHS.
