The Title 1 Family Center is an integral part of the school-wide effort to offer educational support to our families. The atmosphere of the center is friendly, fun-filled, comfortable, and informative. Families are encouraged to come to the Center and talk with Mrs. Russo about their child’s reading. The Family Resource Center is open every Wednesday Morning from 7:55AM to the first bell at 8:55AM. We are located in room A149 in the A building. You and your child may look over a wide selection of books that are “just right” for your child’s current reading level and interests. Having books at the correct level provides the greatest opportunity for reading skills to grow. During each visit to the center you may check out up to three books. Each time your child visits the center, they will receive a free “keeper” book for their home library.
In addition to the great books, we will also have many special guests and prizes throughout the school year. We look forward to you visiting each Wednesday morning!
