The Games that Work workshop is offered by the Physical Education Resource Teachers of the Canton City School District. The workshop is presented as an in-service program designed to upgrade the quality of all elementary physical education programs, explore adaptive concepts that can help meet the needs of all students, renew the enthusiasm for physical education and offer the opportunity to meet, share and compare ideas. Physical Education teachers from throughout Ohio attend and present their innovative ideas for quality physical education activities. Many workshop participants agree to present the game they submit with their registration. This allows for demonstration of 20-25 excellent activities during the course of the day. The workshop is highly interactive, educational and fun.
