Planning for Graduation:
- Schedule an appointment with your school counselor to ensure all requirements have been met to receive your high school diploma.
- Clear any fines and return missing books/equipment. *You will not receive your cap & gown, diploma or be able to participate in the ceremony if there is a hold on your account.
Cap and Gown:
- Cap and Gown pick up is scheduled for Friday May 19th (in the Aux Gym).
- Students will receive a link (about a week before May 19th) to schedule an appointment to pick up their cap and gown. Please be sure to check your email regularly.
- Students will receive a one size fits all cap, a black gown, a keepsake tassel, stole(s), and picture information.
Graduation Stole:
- Every senior will be given a stole to wear for the graduation ceremony. *After the ceremony, students must return the stole in order to receive their diploma. (Graduates will keep their cap, gown, and tassel.)
- If you would like to keep the stole, students can pay $15; only cash will be accepted.
Graduation Tickets:
- Each graduate will receive ten (10) tickets.
- All family members must have a ticket, including children.
- A link to access graduation tickets will be sent on Monday May 15th.
Graduation Rehearsal: (MANDATORY)
- Monday, May 22, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at Tom Benson Hall of Fame
- Graduation practice is MANDATORY. Any senior participating in the ceremony is REQUIRED to attend this entire practice.
- Graduation practice will take approximately 3 hours.
Graduation Day:
Graduation Line-Up: 5:30 p.m. sharp on Tuesday May 23rd. Please arrive no later than 5:15 to locate your place in line.
- The Graduation Ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at The Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
- Doors will open at 5:00 p.m.
- Seating for our graduation ceremony will be “first come, first served.”
- Accessible seating will be available.
Graduation Day Attire:
- Dress slacks or casual slacks in a dark color or khaki shade, skirt and top, or a dress is always appropriate. Please avoid high heels. A small heel will be more comfortable.
- Graduates may only wear school-approved stoles.

Clothing Choices to Avoid:
- Do not wear jeans, backless sandals, flip-flops, shorts, or athletic shoes. You will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.
- Keep hairstyles simple and neat for a proper fit of your cap. The cap must be worn parallel to the floor, not tilted forward or backward. Caps are not to be thrown after the ceremony!
- Graduates can decorate their caps.
