Welcome to Mrs Ielati's 3rd Grade Class!

My name is Maria Ielati.  I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade at Cabarrus County Virtual Academy again this year. This will be my 22nd year as a classroom teacher.It is my sixth year teaching in Cabarrus County.  Before coming to the Virtual Academy, I taught at A.T. Allen Elementary in 3rd grade and Kindergarten. In 2016, I relocated from New York City with my husband and daughter, who is a sixth grader this year.   I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Students with Disabilities.  I am also certified in ESL.  When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, taking road trips and DIY projects.
