Email: BHS CounselingCounseling Program
The Brockport High School counseling program follows the professional model endorsed by the American School Counselor Association: "Counseling is a process of helping people by assisting them in making decisions and changing behavior. School counselors work with all students, staff, families and members of the community as an integral part of the education program. School counseling programs promote school success through a focus on academic achievement, prevention and intervention activities, advocacy and social/emotional and career development.
Students are assigned to their counselor based on the first letter of their last name and the grade they are in (based on the year that they started high school). Please see the Meet the Counselors tab for additional information.
