Buildings and Grounds

  • The Buildings and Grounds department is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, repair, and operation of the physical plants in six district buildings consisting of over 720,000 square feet , and the daily upkeep of over 100 acres of property. Our staff includes trade mechanics in the fields of HVAC repair, boiler operation, electrical installation and repair, computerized energy management, carpentry, and plumbing. Some of our grounds staff responsibilities include the cutting and trimming of grass, renovation and marking of playing fields, asphalt and concrete repair, and snow plowing. This group of dedicated staff strives to maintain and improve the quality of our district facilities and grounds on a daily basis.
