Welcome to the Brighton Central School District!
Whether you are new to the Rochester, New York area or moving from the next district over, we want to make the registration process as easy as possible. Let’s get started!
Registration in Brighton is a two-part process, starting with district registration, and continuing with school enrollment.
To Register with the District, please follow these steps and click on the appropriate icon below.
1. Collect all required age and residence proof: Click on the Required Documentation icon for accepted documentation.

2. Start registering, using either our online registration system or a downloadable form. Both options are available by clicking on the District Registration icon.

3. If using our online system, please complete the Residency Statement. This form is downloadable and fillable. Just save to your computer, fill it out, save again, and email it to the District Registrar. You can download by clicking the Residency Statement icon or on the launch page for the Online Registration System.

4. Kindergarten registration for Fall 2024-25 begins in January, starting with District Registration as described above. Please click on the Kindergarten Registration icon for a timeline of the process.

5. Once your child is registered with the district, you'll receive school enrollment forms which comprise the second part of the registration process. Please click on the School Enrollment Requirements icon for more information. 
School Enrollment Requirements6. The Town of Brighton covers six different school districts. Please make sure your address is in the Brighton Central School District by clicking on the Street Directory icon.
