Hello fantastic firsties and their families! My name is Mrs. Ruiz and I am so excited to be your first grade teacher! This is my 17th year as an educator.

I received a BS in Elementary Education from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2007. After completing my undergraduate degree, I enrolled in graduate school at William Carey University where I received my M. Ed in 2011.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling with my family, spending time at the baseball field, all things Disney and reading.
