My name is Jessica Labit, and this will be my fifth year teaching fourth-grade reading and social studies at North Bay. I attended The University of Southern Mississippi where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in reading, social studies, science, and Biology. I have been married for 14 years, and have a daughter that will be a sophomore in high school this year. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, reading, and really anything involving the outdoors. I have very high expectations of all my students and love to see them challenge themselves! I understand the importance of providing each student with a safe and nurturing environment so that they may grow both academically and socially. I believe that there is no other job as rewarding as molding the young minds of tomorrow.
