Hello! My name is Ashley Donnell, and I will be teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) at Biloxi Jr. High for the 2023-2024 school year! Below is some information about me. :)

Career:

This will be my twelfth year teaching. When I first started my career, I taught 6th grade English Language Arts (ELA) for five years at Pass Christian Middle School; I received the Teacher of the Year award for the 2015-2016 school year. I transferred to the Biloxi School District in 2017 where I taught 7th grade ELA for seven years.This will be my first year teaching ESL, and I couldn't be more thrilled!

Education:

In May 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education from The University of Southern Mississippi. (SMTTT!) I also received my Graduate Degree at Southern Miss with an emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction. Lastly, I received my certificate in ESL in 2022.
