Hello 5th grade families, and welcome to BUE!
My name is Samantha Blount, and I am eager to get the 2023-2024 school year started! This will be my 3rd year at Biloxi Upper as a 5th grade teacher. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State (Hail State!) I am married to my wonderful husband, Zack. In our free time, we enjoy doing DIY home renovation projects, binge watching reality TV, completing puzzles, and playing with our sweet rescue puppy Kajun!
I truly love my job, and I hope to spark a love for math in all of my students! It is such a privilege to be a part of your child's learning experience. I have high expectations of every student that walks through my doors, and as a team we can foster the best year for your child!
