Hi, my name is Ms. Beth Dayton and I have been teaching with Attalla City Schools 15 years.  I began my professional career as a licensed Social Worker after I graduated from Auburn University in 1994.  I enjoyed my job as a social worker but decided to continue my professional development.  I graduated with my Master's in Special Education from Jacksonville State University in 2004.  After ten years as a social worker, I began my teaching career at Etowah Middle School in 2004.  I taught at EMS for seven years and then moved to Etowah High School for seven years and now I am back at the Middle School!  I have one daughter, Haley, who graduated from Etowah High School in 2015 and is currently attending Jacksonville State University.
