Read Across America

NEA’s Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2—Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books and you can too! 

Foothill Elementary participates in the event every year. This year we had 8 readers from Anheuser Busch marketing and sales department and 3 readers from the district come and read Dr. Seuss books to students. Teachers and students celebrated reading and participated in reading activities throughout the week to commemorate Dr. Seuss.
