• La Granada, built in 1948, is the one of the district’s two oldest school buildings. As such, there is a special warmth about the school, especially in the original classrooms. The school has recently been renovated and all utilities and support systems have been brought up to date. The buildings are fully air-conditioned and most classrooms are carpeted. There is a multipurpose room, computer lab, a sparkling new library as well as an outdoor play area with hardtop and grassy playing fields. The kindergarten classrooms have a separate and fenced play yard. Known affectionately as "La Granada South," the Riverside County Office of Education operates a Special Education program and a Headstart Preschool program in their buildings on the southern part of the campus.
