Task 1: Exploring Universal Truths

Task: Students will read the article 12 Universal Truths and complete a Say—Mean—Matter chart focusing on three of the universal truths.  They will then use Word or Google Docs to make three (3) mini-posters based upon the three truths used for the chart. Each of the three posters will include:

• A title that identifies the universal truth
• A picture that illustrates or exemplifies the universal truth
• Three paragraphs taken directly from the Say—Mean—Matter chart Written below the picture. The paragraphs combine the answers from each row of the chart.

When completed, email the posters to the teacher.
