The School Board of Charlotte County is excited to announce that they have selected a new Superintendent of Schools Designee during tonight's board meeting. After an extensive search process, the board voted to name Mark Vianello as the new Superintendent, who is set to assume the role and responsibilities this summer.
The School Board took great care in selecting a candidate who would best serve the needs of the Charlotte County student population and lead the district to a top ten district. Mr. Vianello’s exemplary qualifications, strong leadership skills, and commitment to educational excellence made him the ideal candidate for the position. He had been a teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, a principal of both an elementary and high school, the Executive Director of Student Services, the Executive Director of Career and Technical Education, Deputy Superintendent, and is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer for Marion County Public Schools.
We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Vianello as our new Superintendent of Schools. His expertise and vision align perfectly with the goals and values of our district. We are confident that his leadership will help us continue to provide a high-quality education for all of our students.
In the coming weeks, the School Board will work closely with Mr. Vianello to ensure a smooth transition into his new role. The board and the community are eager to support Mr. Vianello as they lead the district into a bright future.
