ACCEL Options provide academically challenging curriculum or accelerated instructions to eligible public school students in grades K-12. Whole grade and midyear promotion, subject matter acceleration, virtual instruction in higher grade level subject, and courses can be provided to eligible students. This program prepares students for careers after high school. The program was created to allow students early exploration and experience in the career paths of their choice. The Charlotte Edison Collegiate Institute (CECI) is an educational opportunity for Charlotte County high school students to earn an Associate of Arts degree (AA) from Edison College while simultaneously earning a high school diploma from the Charlotte County Public School System.
