Wellsville Secondary School Announces Partnership with Gaggle to Provide a 24/7 Student Crisis Line
In our ongoing commitment to the well-being of our students, the Wellsville Secondary School is proud to announce a partnership with Gaggle. We are launching a 24/7 crisis line dedicated to providing immediate support to students in need. This innovative service offers both a phone line and a chat feature, ensuring accessible, round-the-clock assistance.
The Gaggle crisis line is more than just a helpline; it's a lifeline that fosters a personal connection—a crucial element often sought by today’s digitally savvy students. This service ensures that every student has access to a trained, caring professional at the ready to offer help in real-time at the very moment it's needed most.
In addition to providing immediate assistance, this service allows the school district to stay informed about their students' challenges. Students who reach out to Gaggle have the option to remain anonymous or provide their contact information. Though not required, if contact information is provided, Wellsville Secondary Guidance staff can better meet the needs of individuals by providing follow-up resources. Regular reports on the usage of the crisis line will enable the district to understand better and address the needs of its student body.
