Between the 1995 and 1997 seasons, Wellsville softball teams won 58 consecutive games. The 58-game winning streak is the longest in New York State and at the time, 10th best in the nation. The streak began with a 16-1 win over Portville in 1995 and ended with a 1-0 loss to Frewsburg in the 1997 Far West Regional.
