My name is Dori Hardee and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to be your principal. This is my 19th year in education. 

I grew up and began my teaching career in Maryland then moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico followed by North Dakota and we have finally settled in Alabama! I have served in various roles on our adventures, and I have learned that if teaching is truly in your heart you are willing to teach just about anything! My husband Ashley is a teacher and volleyball coach at VHHS where we live in walking distance to the HS which has proved to be quite useful on a Friday night! Our two children, Noah and Dylan keep us busy with lacrosse and we enjoy traveling, camping and spending time on our boat at the lake.  

I am privileged to work alongside such an amazing staff.  I have been a part of various teams my entire life both as an athlete and a coach and there isn’t a team stronger or more productive than our LP team.  My hope is that I will be able to help our students to live, love and learn through their middle school years.  As I usually sign off… I hope each and every student “Go forth and conquer something awesome”
